Voter Resources for mail-in ballots due by April 28th, 2020

Hey there everyone, this is Tim. I went ahead and gathered the website and phone numbers for all local board of elections within the 9th district. Ballots are required to be postmarked by April 28th, 2020. This means you need to have requested your ballot, received it, filled it out and sent it back by the 28th. Based on how long it is taking the post office to get these ballots delivered, I highly recommend sending for your ballot no later than April 12th. Even that may be cutting it too close. If you want to be sure your vote is counted, you should order your ballot soon, like last week soon. I know a lot of folks that don't want to participate because of our government's actions, please do not let Columbus strip you of your vote. This may be a pain in the neck, but we have a civic responsibility to ensure the state politicians don't have control over election results, and giving them control over turn-out through suppression gives them control over the results. Send a message to Columbus that you CAN NOT be silenced.

Below you will find the websites and phone numbers to the board of elections in each of the 5 counties in our district. Contact your local county Board of Elections and request your ballot, then send that ballot back to that same Board of Elections by mail.

Ohio's Election Debacle

There is no election day in the Ohio Primary. The state government declared that mail voting be extended to April 28th, 2020 with no other voting time scheduled. So no in person voting at the polls. They are treating March 17th as election day and just extending the time-frame for mail in ballots because they didn't like what Governor Dewine did. We have a bunch of children representing us in the Ohio State government.

Needless to say, this disenfranchises voters across Ohio for a number of reasons.

The integrity of this election is now in question. By people from all over the state, including candidate Tim Connors.

We would have preferred some continuity of government here, some consistency regarding something so important. However that is not what we got. They have changed the election details who knows how many times now.

Given the ineptitude of our state government, we implore you to cast all ballots against incumbents in this Primary, regardless of party. Of course we still want you to vote Tim Connors for US House on your mail in-ballot...if you get it in time, and send it in time. They are taking away our rights and now our free and fair elections? They corrupted the process and cancelled in-person voting. This is dumb, the state Congress is mad at Dewine for fiddling with the they totally cancel in-person voting as a gotcha to the governor? No thank you, this is stupid. Make sure you let your local Rep know how you feel, and how you plan to vote, if you even get to, in this currently ongoing primary election.

For those that don't know, you have to request a ballot by mail before you can have the opportunity to send in a ballot by mail. With the deadline about one month away and the track record of Postal workers, it looks like a whole lot of people will miss the deadline because of how inefficient the mail can be, especially right now, when postal volume is going to create logistical issues. This adds layers of effort to voting that did not exist before, almost ensuring a dramatically reduced turnout.

Ohio, your government just stole your election.

We are going to keep blasting about getting the mail in ballots to people asap, because if you don't request your ballot in time, you wont receive it in time to reach the post mark deadline. So if you plan to vote in this abomination of an election please request your ballot ASAP or you will not be given the chance to vote.

Chinese Virus Relief

Democrats are holding our economy hostage over a bunch of pet projects. This should show all the citizens of Ohio's 9th district just how little Marcy Kaptur cares about you and your family. She would rather you continue to struggle and suffer if it means she can help get the Democrats agenda done. Party loyalty should never come before the needs of the constituency. But for Marcy Kaptur, it seems party loyalty is her paramount concern.

It is moments like this where having someone like Tim Connors in Congress would greatly benefit the people of Ohio's 9th district. Tim has been closely monitoring the situation and talking with people affected by the economic fallout. He believes this can be fixed, but we are working on a time table here. Congress is squandering an opportunity to avoid further crisis for perceived political gain. This shouldn't be a surprise, this is how our Congress has been behaving. It is up to US to vote for candidates that are honest individuals earnestly attempting to solve our nations greatest challenges.

As a small business owner Tim understands the trouble many of us are in, and he understands how to pull out of this. We should elect people like him so that we can rely on our representation during these extreme times. This is not the first national crisis, and it will not be the last. We clearly can not afford to have bad apples in Congress going forward.

Join me in Voting Tim Connors for Congress on June 2nd, 2020. We need people in office that wouldn't treat our people like political footballs. We need someone like Tim that would have fought tooth and nail to get you the help you needed during this time, all while exposing the corruption that politicians try to partake in when big legislation like this come up.

The Wuhan Coronavirus/election postponement

Ohio's Primary election has been postponed. So far it looks like we can expect election day to take place on June 2nd, but things are still uncertain. Folks can still vote at their local board of elections in the meantime. Below is a link to Tim's most recent Facebook post regarding the election.

Comprehensive Candidate Information

Listed below is a comprehensive compilation of information for voters to make an educated decision on March 17th, 2020. Below you will find several links. The first link is the CHIP candidate forum where Tim and 2 other candidates answer questions unscripted (we start at 8mins 50sec in the video). The other 2 video links are to speeches given to the TEA party by Rob Weber and Tim Connors. Then there is a ballotpedia link, that is a comprehensive elections information page where Rob and Tim each have a profile and survey responses. Following that is the ivoterguide info. All of the 9th district republican primary contenders have a profile on ivoterguide and you get a good look at each candidate in comparison there as they all answered the same questions. The links provided will take you to the profiles on those sites for Tim Connors, but getting to the Rob Weber profile is a single click or two away when you're on each site. We would have also loved to provide footage from the UT Democracy Town Hall pseudo-debate from March 5th as well, but have yet to see it or find it. While watching and reading please remember that everything Tim has done on these sites and in these videos is all 100% off the cuff, unrehearsed, organic communication from the heart.  Please, take the time to review the information and choose who you think is the best candidate to go against Marcy Kaptur in November. We know not everyone is going to vote for Tim Connors in this primary, but it is our firm belief that the more people that can get a chance to compare candidates, the more likely Tim will achieve Victory on March 17th, 2020.
